On November 21, Star Wars Outlaws officially launched on the Steam store. Within the first 24 hours, the game's peak online player count did not even reach a thousand.

To attract more players, Ubisoft:

  • released a major patch alongside the game, which includes a wide range of significant improvements such as new animations, revamped combat and stealth mechanics, enhanced enemy AI, and more;
  • released a story DLC — Wild Card;
  • offered a 25% discount on the game in Steam.

Despite the company’s efforts, the project failed to attract an audience. The online presence of the project is very modest, with the number of reviews just over 100. Even by indie release standards, these are poor metrics.

For comparison, Ubisoft’s previous release — Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which was released on Steam on October 17, drew over 7,800 simultaneous users.

It is worth noting that Star Wars Outlaws was originally released on August 30 for PC via Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
