South Korean authorities suspect that Google, Apple and One Store Co. have violated a law that prohibits owners of mobile stores from imposing their payment systems on developers. Now companies face a fine of 2% of the annual turnover of stores.
Apple and One Store Co. have not publicly commented on the situation. Google said it had previously worked closely with the local regulator and would continue to do so now.
