Sony has shared with the British regulator concerns about the future of the Call of Duty series on its consoles if a deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard takes place. In particular, she suggested that the corporation will start releasing games with bugs and poor performance on the PlayStation.
According to Sony, even if its specialists quickly discover problems with Call of Duty, they will not be able to fix them promptly. As a result, gamers may lose confidence in the quality of PlayStation games and switch to Xbox.
Microsoft, in a comment to the Eurogamer portal, announced that it guarantees Sony parity on Call of Duty — the games of the series will be released on PlayStation in the same form as on Xbox.
