Call of Duty is so popular that it depends on which console gamers will eventually choose, Sony is confident. Among other things, the company said this in response to a request from the Brazilian antimonopoly regulator, which is checking the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard.

Sony also said that now Call of Duty is one of the most cash games from third—party developers on the PlayStation and is an important source of revenue for the platform.

However, Ubisoft, Riot Games, Bandai Namco and some other gaming companies interviewed by the agency disagree with Sony’s opinion.
