343 Industries has one less employee. David Ellis, who held the position of senior game designer of Halo Infinite, announced his departure from the studio.

Ellis did not say what he would do now, but promised to share his plans in the near future.

Ellis joined 343 Industries in 2010, becoming a Halo content producer. Since 2012, he has worked as a game designer and worked on Halo 4, Halo 5 and Halo Infinite.

Over the past year, 343 Industries has left many leading specialists, including Halo Infinite Creative director Joseph Staten, technical Director David Berger and art director Nicolas Bouvier. In addition, at the end of January, journalist Jason Schreier reported that Microsoft had laid off 95 employees of 343 Industries during large-scale layoffs.
