Ubisoft has released a report for the third fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2022. She reported a drop in receipts (net bookings), but noted the success of a number of projects.

▪️Ubisoft sales increased by 16% to €772.5 million, receipts fell by 2.6% to €726.9 million.

The share of revenue from console games decreased to 36% (a year earlier it was 59%). The share of receipts from PC games also fell – by 18‱ to 29%. But the share of receipts from mobile increased immediately by 36‱ to 43%.

In December, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege reached a record DARPU. In the third quarter, this figure increased by 30% compared to 2021.

In the period from April to December, the Assassin’s Creed franchise updated the record for user engagement. The number of active players has increased by 30%.

▪️Ubisoft is pleased with the results of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. The company hopes that the game will sell well for a long time.

In a conversation with investors, Yves Guillemot stated that Ubisoft previously had to cancel three unannounced games because the company was simultaneously working on too many projects. He also stated that Ubisoft will release “a lot of games” by March 31, 2024.
