On the night of March 23-24, Capcom released a remake of Resident Evil 4. According to the SteamDB service, 11 hours after the release, the peak online game on Steam exceeded 124 thousand people. This is a record for the series.
Previously, the first place in peak online was at Resident Evil Village — 106.6 thousand people.
For comparison, we note that at one time the peak online remake of Resident Evil 2 was 74.2 thousand people, and the peak online remake of Resident Evil 3 was 60.3 thousand people.
Given these numbers, we can expect that the Resident Evil 4 remake will be another Capcom hit.
