Sony Interactive Entertainment has reported 60.4 million PlayStation 4 consoles sold.
Last week, the president of Sony Interactive Entertainment America, Shawn Layden, clarified that the Pro version of the PlayStation 4 accounts for about 20% of all console sales.
Sales of games for PlayStation 4 today amount to 487.8 million applications, and the PlayStation Plus service has 26.4 million paid subscribers.
“The PS4 platform is on the rise, and this year we are preparing for publication the best selection of exclusive and partner titles in our industry,” commented Andrew House, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment.
Despite the positive statements, in the financial forecast for the current year, Sony plans to reduce sales of PlayStation 4 from 20 to 18 million units.
