According to GfK, physical sales of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet in the UK in the first week were higher than any other games in 2022. Including God of War: Ragnarök and FIFA 23.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet also surpassed almost all games in the series in terms of starting sales in British retail. Only Pokémon Sun and Moon, released in 2016, sold better than her in her debut week.
GfK did not disclose the number of copies of the games sold.
