Almost four years after its release, the mobile game Pokémon Masters EX (formerly known as simply Pokémon Masters) has crossed the milestone of 50 million downloads. This was announced by DeNA.
The developers did not provide more detailed statistics on the project.
According to the analytical service AppMagic, the main markets in terms of downloads for Pokémon Masters EX were the USA, Japan and India. As for revenue, it exceeded $190.4 million. Residents of Japan, the USA and Taiwan spent the most money.
Pokémon Masters EX was released in August 2019 and showed at that time the second largest box office launch among mobile Pokemon games. According to Sensor Tower analysts, the project earned $26 million in its debut week. Only Pokémon GO performed better, whose revenue for the first seven days amounted to $ 56 million.
