Pokémon Go revenue is declining. According to MobileGamer with reference to AppMagic data, in April the Niantic AR-game earned $34.7 million. This is a monthly minimum since February 2018.

Most likely, the drop is due to gamers’ dissatisfaction with the change in the rules of remote mode. Recall that in 2020, against the background of the COVID-19 pandemic, the creators of Pokémon Go added “home” raids to the game, in which you can catch Pokemon without going outside. However, in April 2023, Niantic increased the cost of remote mode and announced that users can now participate in such raids no more than five times a day.

Nevertheless, Pokémon Go remains one of the highest-grossing mobile games in the world. According to Sensor Tower, as of June 2022, its revenue since its release exceeded $6 billion.
