The authors of Dauntless are making cuts again. The exact number of those fired is unknown, but we may be talking about more than 100 employees.

It also became known about the closure of an unannounced project, which was allegedly weeks away from release in early access format. And about the termination of work on all the games that were in development.
One of the former studio employees stated that the cuts occurred at the behest of the Forte blockchain platform, which acquired Phoenix Labs a year ago.
This is the third reduction for the studio in the last two calendar years. In May and December 2023, it has already laid off employees.
