The head of Microsoft’s gaming division said this at a general meeting with Xbox Game Studios employees. Spencer added that a year and a half ago (during the previous meeting) he knew little about trade unions, but now he understood the topic well. In his opinion, unionization is one of the rights of employees.

Spencer stressed that Microsoft currently does not interact in any way with the Game Workers Alliance, created by testers from Raven Software. The corporation also does not communicate with another major union, Communication Workers of America.

Recall that at the end of March, Microsoft already reported that it “will not stand in the way” of the union in Activision Blizzard if the publisher recognizes it.
