The sequel to the popular action RPG Path of Exile 2 has surged into the global top-grossing games on the Steam platform. This was made possible by the recently opened pre-orders.

At the time of writing, Path of Exile 2 holds the fifth spot on the chart, situated between PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
In some regions, Path of Exile 2 ranks even higher. For example, it is in first place in Singapore and Thailand, and in second place in Canada, only trailing the Steam Deck in sales.
Path of Exile 2 will be released in early access on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series next week on December 6. It is expected to remain in this stage for about six months. The full release is scheduled for 2025.
Early access will be paid. Players will need to pay a minimum of $30 to join. Additionally, those users who have previously purchased high-level support packs or spent at least $480 on in-game purchases in the first Path of Exile will automatically register.
