Famitsu estimated that Japanese gamers bought 1.6 million discs of games in May. The Nintendo Switch Sports was in the greatest demand — almost 420 thousand people purchased cartridges with it.

The previously leading Kirby and the Forgotten Land dropped to second place in the retail chart. It was followed by the eBaseball Powerful Pro Yakyu version for the Nintendo Switch.

By the way, the Nintendo Switch itself was sold 368 thousand times in a month. As a result, its Japanese sales reached the mark of 24.8 million devices.
