According to GfK analysts, Nintendo Switch accounted for 42% of consoles sold in the UK during the Black Friday sales week.
The second most popular were the Xbox consoles, which generated 40% of sales. The PS5 accounted for the remaining 18% of sales.
GfK estimates that consoles as a whole were responsible for 41% of the revenue of the British gaming market last week. 39% of the revenue came from accessories, and 21% — from physical editions of games (digital editions were not included in the statistics).
