Nintendo has relaxed restrictions for Russian gamers. She said that starting from May 31, users from Russia can again download previously purchased games from the eShop.
Nintendo explained that it did this as part of fulfilling its obligations to customers. She added that Russian gamers still cannot buy games in the store and create new accounts.
Recall that Nintendo stopped accepting payments from gamers from Russia in February last year. In March, she completely closed access to the Russian eShop, putting it into maintenance mode.
