Asia remains the largest esports market. According to the analytical company Niko Partners, last year the turnover of the global esports market reached $1.1 billion — Asian countries were responsible for $634.3 million of this amount.
In 2021, the revenue of the Asian esports market increased by 16.6% year-on-year;
By the end of the year, there were almost 700 million viewers of esports matches in Asia. This is 13% more than in 2020;
The strongest revenue growth was shown by India (18.3%) and Southeast Asia (17.2%);
▪️China earned the most in esports — $403.1 million (an increase of 14%). The audience of esports matches in this country amounted to 434 million people (an increase of 11.8%).
