Niantic commented on the data of the AppMagic service, according to which in April the monthly revenue of Pokémon Go fell to $34.7 million — the lowest level in five years. According to the company, this information is incorrect.

In a statement to Eurogamer, the company said that it usually does not comment on the figures of third-party analysts, because most often they do not correspond to reality, but this time it decided to depart from the rule. However, Niantic did not say how much the game actually earned in April. She noted that she does not closely monitor monthly indicators, since they depend on major events in the game.

Niantic added that in the first five months of 2023, Pokémon Go earned more than during the same time in 2022.
