China’s NetEase continues to strengthen its presence abroad. She launched a studio called Spliced, which will develop an innovative project that “changes the idea of what a game is.”

The office of Spliced is based in the UK, but the studio is also ready to work remotely with specialists around the world. Her team includes former developers of GTA, Call of Duty, The Sims, Rocket League and Red Dead Redemption.

NetEase did not talk in detail about the first game of Spliced. But judging by the job description, it will be an AAA title for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series on Unreal Engine 5.
