The deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard is being checked by antitrust regulators around the world. Recently, in response to a request from the New Zealand department, Microsoft stated that it does not consider the publisher’s games unique. According to the corporation, they are also not a desirable target for its competitors-distributors of games on PC and consoles.
Among the key competitors developing and publishing games on these platforms, Microsoft singled out Tencent, Sony, Nintendo, Take-Two, Electronic Arts, Valve, Bandai Namco, CD Projekt RED and Roblox. And on mobile there are FunPlus, NetEase, Niantic, Playrix, Playtika and Zynga.
