Microsoft President Brad Smith said that the corporation respects the right of employees to organize trade unions. She will not interfere, although they “will never have the need to unite for a dialogue” with the leadership.

Smith stressed that Microsoft has been cooperating with several unions for a long time. But against the background of the deal with Activision Blizzard, the corporation decided that it would pay more attention to this topic.

Earlier, Phil Spencer announced that Microsoft will support the Raven Software testers’ union after it completes the purchase of Activision Blizzard.
