Phil Spencer announced that Microsoft has agreed to release Call of Duty on Nintendo consoles after completing the purchase of Activision Blizzard. He also confirmed that the games in the series will continue to be released on Steam at the same time as the release on Xbox.

According to Spencer, Microsoft aims to provide access to games to as many people as possible, regardless of the platform. However, analyst Serkan Toto believes that with the help of such transactions, the corporation is trying to appease regulators.

Nevertheless, Microsoft has not yet been able to come to an agreement with Sony. Spencer said that the Japanese company refused to sign a ten-year contract for the release of Call of Duty.
