We discuss the changes in the top 100 best-selling products on Steam for the period from February 10 to February 17.
The roguelike about breeding cats with tactical battles, Mewgenics, became the leader in gross revenue among paid titles. It hasn't managed to dethrone Counter-Strike 2, but it's the highest start among all 2026 releases so far for the new game by Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel.
Mewgenics also retains users well. Over the weekend, its peak online presence exceeded 115,000 concurrent users. The project's gross revenue for the first week is estimated at around $30 million. Meanwhile, Russia ranks third in sales, with a share of almost 7%.
The "Infernal Edition" of Diablo II: Resurrected also performed excellently since its release on Steam on February 11. Among other things, Blizzard added a new Warlock class. The game debuted in fifth place (11th overall).
Other new chart entries include the co-op horror Reanimal (12th place), the gas station simulator Roadside Research (29th place), High on Life 2 (41st place), and Romeo is a Dead Man (45th place).
Notably, Resident Evil Requiem, whose pre-orders took eighth place in the overall chart (3rd among paid titles), deserves a mention. The upcoming Capcom project, slated for release on February 27, has been holding steady in the top for six consecutive weeks.
