The European antimonopoly regulator continues to collect information about how the purchase of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft Corporation may affect the gaming market. According to Reuters, in December, the European Commission sent a large questionnaire to developers, publishers and distributors of games, as well as suppliers of operating systems for PC.

In particular, the European Commission asks which franchise is considered the most important among console games, and whether there are alternatives to Call of Duty, whether Microsoft will decide to make the publisher’s games its exclusives and whether it will prohibit their release on non-Windows computers.

The European Commission sent out a similar questionnaire in early October.
