Journalist Zach Bussey (Zach Bussey) in his profile on X (Twitter) reported that Amazon fired some of the Twitch employees.
If his information is correct, then this round of cuts was the second for the division in a year. In March, Amazon fired about 400 people from Twitch. It is unknown how many people have lost their jobs now. But, according to Bussy, there are significantly fewer laid-offs than in the spring.
The GamesIndustry portal, citing sources, added that the cuts were made only among customer service specialists.
