The reasons for Lee's departure are unknown. Lee has not publicly announced the news, and his LinkedIn page still states that he works at Ubisoft.

The internal Ubisoft memo, quoted by Henderson, mentions that they will not be hiring another person for Lee's position for the time being.

Lee joined Ubisoft in April 2022. Prior to that, he worked for companies such as Activision Blizzard, Bungie, BioWare, and Electronic Arts.
