The free-to-play shooter XDefiant by Ubisoft is showing good results, claims Tom Henderson.

According to the insider, XDefiant attracted its first million players within 2.5 hours of launch. No other Ubisoft game has reached this milestone so quickly before. Within two days, the XDefiant audience exceeded 3 million people.

Henderson noted that on the day of release, XDefiant's online presence exceeded 500 thousand concurrent users, which led to server issues, but these problems were resolved within eight to ten hours. Currently, the online count has decreased but still remains high—300 thousand people.

Henderson also compared these results to the highly popular Apex Legends. That game attracted its first million users in eight hours and 2.5 million users in 24 hours.
