The Surgeon Simulator franchise has changed ownership again. It now belongs to Infogrames — the resurrected publishing brand of Atari that came back a few months ago.

Surgeon Simulator 2

Prior to Infogrames, tinyBuild owned the franchise. They acquired Surgeon Simulator, as well as the games I am Fish and I am Bread, from the developer Bossa Studios for $3 million in 2022. The purchase price for Infogrames has not been disclosed.

Infogrames mentioned that they plan to actively develop the Surgeon Simulator franchise. The release of new games and the appearance of themed merchandise are not ruled out.
