The game Free Fire could imperceptibly write off funds from the accounts of Indian users, according to the Indian authorities. The country has launched an investigation into Sea and the fintech firm Coda Payments India cooperating with it.
According to Reuters, as part of the investigation, the authorities raided the office of Coda Payments India and froze its bank accounts. At the time of the freeze, the accounts of the fintech company had $8.4 million.
