Data attribution service Tenjin estimated that Android games accounted for 54% of advertising revenue in April-June 2022. For comparison, two years ago they accounted for only 40%.

According to analysts, such a shift in numbers is most likely due to Apple's updated privacy policy.

On both Android and iOS, the United States, Japan and the United Kingdom generated the most advertising revenue.
