A study of the advertising market of mobile games from the performance marketing agency AdQuantum and the advertising analytics platform SocialPeta has been published. A little lower – squeeze.

The number of game advertisers in the first half of 2022 fell by 2% (in annual terms), to 45.1 thousand.

The number of advertising creatives for games decreased by 27.83% (in annual terms), to 15.8 million.

The first categories in terms of the number of game creatives were Casual games (18.14% of the total), Puzzle (13.67%) and RPG (12.14%).

Android now accounts for about 72.45% of all advertisers and creatives.

▫️Tier-2 and Tier-3 mobile app and game markets are experiencing significant growth. Despite the fact that in the first half of 2022, the number of advertisers decreased by 2% compared to the same period a year ago, and the total number of creatives decreased by 27.83%, the number of advertisers in the Middle East, South America, South Asia and other developing countries increased by more than 10% compared to the same period of 2021.

Mobile marketers should seriously consider Twitter as an additional channel of promotion, it is predicted to increase the volume and quality of traffic in late 2022 and early 2023.

During the preparation of the study, 175 thousand mobile applications, more than 70 traffic sources and 80 million installations in 100 countries were analyzed.
