The company Hasbro reported its second quarter of 2024 (April-June). Among other things, it announced that it continues to receive good revenue from licensing the MONOPOLY and Baldur’s Gate franchises.

In the second quarter, royalties from the creators of the mobile game MONOPOLY GO! amounted to $35 million — which is over the $5 million minimum guarantee. Hasbro forecasts that it will earn $105 million from the game for the entire year.

How much the company earned from Baldur’s Gate 3 for the quarter was not specified. Hasbro only indicated that it plans to receive about $30 million in royalties from Larian Studios for the entire year. It is known that the authors of Baldur’s Gate 3 already transferred most of this amount to Hasbro in the first half of the year. Recall, in 2023, royalties from Baldur’s Gate 3 amounted to $90 million.
