DON’T NOD reported its performance for the first six months of 2024. The first half of the year was not very favorable for the French company, leading it to revise some of its plans.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

  • Compared to the first half of 2023, DON’T NOD's operational revenue fell by 11.4% to €14.6 million.
  • The EBITDA figure was negative at minus €1 million.
  • At the same time, sales revenue tripled to €1.85 million. The growth was mainly achieved due to the demand for back-catalog games such as Vampyr and Life is Strange.
  • The games Jusant and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden performed significantly below the company's expectations. As a result, DON’T NOD decided to partially write off the assets of these games, amounting to €24 million.
  • DON’T NOD paused work on projects with the code names P12 and P13, which were in the early stages of development. The company explained that this decision would allow them to focus on games with greater potential. The suspension will lead to a write-off of €7.6 million.
  • DON’T NOD also revamped the design of games under the code names P10 and P14 to make them more appealing to a broader audience. Both games are scheduled for release by the end of 2027.
  • The company has high hopes for the upcoming adventure Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, with the first part set to release in February 2025. Currently, DON’T NOD is engaging with "industry leaders to ensure economic benefits."
