Group of companies “M.Video-Eldorado” told which console games were best sold in Russian retail in the first quarter of 2023.
In general, the main bestseller was God of War: Ragnarök. Below are the best—selling games on individual platforms.
▪️PS4: Cyberpunk 2077, God of War: Ragnarök, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Mortal Kombat X;
▪️PS5: God of War: Ragnarök, Hogwarts Legacy, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, GTA V and the remake of Demon’s Souls;
▪️Xbox: Hogwarts Legacy, Back 4 Blood, Just Dance 2022, FIFA 22 and Atomic Heart;
▪️Nintendo Switch: Minecraft, F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch, Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate, Super Mario Odyssey and Bayonetta 3.
The most popular console in Russia was still the PS4 – it accounted for 50% of the games sold during the quarter. The share of PS5 has grown to 25%. The share of Xbox Series consoles has also increased — up to 10%. Next came the Nintendo Switch (10%) and Xbox One (5%).
