GFA Games representatives did not respond to App2Top's inquiry about the situation within the studio. However, they did provide comments to our colleagues at GoHa. According to them, there are delays in salary payments.
"Yes, indeed, we are experiencing challenges with payments to the [accounts] of the Russian company, resulting in delays. These issues are temporary and forced due to the suddenly complicated bureaucracy involved in working with our Russian company. If we wish to operate legally, we unfortunately cannot influence this external factor. Currently, the issue is a top priority at the investor level," a studio representative noted.
Meanwhile, GFA Games disagreed with the notion that the studio ignores criticism. Furthermore, it was highlighted in a press comment that the latest patch, released the day before, addressed player issues and requests.
The studio’s representative did not directly refute our source's claims about a conflict between the development team and management, but noted that there is no outright confrontation.
"Disagreements on the future vision of the project between employees and their managers are certainly possible within the creative process of discussing ideas, as we do not silence our employees. As for any confrontations, perhaps some former employees do indeed have such conflicts and grievances. It is unfortunate if that is the case."
Such potential situations were described as being part of the working process and regular issues. It was noted that they do not affect the company's future plans.
"We plan to continue addressing primary technical issues and optimization, then polishing current content, after which we will proceed to new content," stated an official representative of GFA Games.
