Mike Rose from the indie publishing house No More Robots condemned the people who have been actively criticizing the Game Pass lately. He stated that he does not consider a Microsoft subscription to be something bad for developers.
Rose wrote on Twitter that No More Robots is trying to include all published games in the Game Pass. So the publisher can ensure the success of titles and reduce the “huge pressure exerted on developers.”
Recall, in documents for the British regulator, Microsoft admitted that the appearance of games in Game Pass reduces their direct sales. Later, the corporation informed the media that the number of developers using the subscription only continues to grow.
