Starting in June, IT specialists and other highly qualified personnel can emigrate to Finland under an accelerated scheme. The authorities promise to issue a residence permit in 14 days, and not in a month, as it was earlier. This is reported by the Yle portal.
Minister of Labor Tuula Haatainen noted that Finland lacks experienced employees from the technology sector. Partly for this reason, the country decided to simplify the rules of immigration.
Aspiring entrepreneurs can also get a residence permit faster.
