Apple has reduced the plan for the production of the Vision Pro AR headset due to the complex design of the device. This is reported by the Financial Times with reference to sources.

According to the newspaper, earlier the corporation planned to ship a million headsets in the first year, now it is less than 400 thousand. The final figures may be even lower. Two Chinese suppliers, who are the only ones manufacturing some components for the company, claim that Apple ordered from them only 130-150 thousand parts for Vision Pro.

Earlier, analyst Ayesha Tariq shared similar rumors. He reported that Apple had cut the plan from a million to 150 thousand copies.
