This conclusion was reached by gaming expert Simon Carless after he counted the number of reviews for VR horror on Steam.
According to his estimates, only last month Steam users wrote 9 thousand comments to Phasmophobia — this is more than almost any game released in April. The only recent project that managed to overtake the reviews is Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. In total, Phasmophobia has over 345 thousand reviews.
Carless also launched a chart that sorts paid games on Steam by the number of reviews. However, it is available only for paid subscribers of GameDiscoverCo Plus.
