Supercell seems to have started disabling access to Clash of Clans for Russian and Belarusian gamers. The network complains that the game no longer opens without a VPN.
When trying to log into Clash of Clans, a notification appears with the text: “Failed to log in. Your current location does not allow you to log in. Try again.”
The rest of the Supercell games are still working without changes.
Supercell withdrew from the Russian and Belarusian markets in March last year, removing its games from regional stores. Even then, the company announced that users from these countries would not be able to play even previously downloaded titles. However, so far downloaded games have continued to open.
