We already mentioned that the cooperative platformer Chained Together made it to the Steam bestsellers chart for the past week. But that's not its only achievement. According to SteamDB, the game managed to become the tenth release of 2024 in terms of online presence on Steam, surpassing titles such as Ghost of Tsushima and Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor.

Chained Together

Currently, the top 10 games of 2024 by online presence on Steam are as follows:

1. Palworld — 2,101,867 people;
2. Helldivers 2 — 458,709 people;
3. Last Epoch — 264,708 people;
4. Dragon’s Dogma 2 — 228,585 people;
5. Content Warning — 204,439 people;
6. Manor Lords — 173,178 people;
7. Enshrouded — 160,405 people;
8. Granblue Fantasy: Relink — 114,054 people;
9. Hades II — 103,567 people;
10. Chained Together — 85,638 people.

Note: we did not include Banana in the top (online presence exceeding 917,000 users) because, according to the acknowledgment of the project’s authors themselves, the majority of Banana’s audience consists of bots, not real players. We also did not include games like V Rising, which officially reached their release in 2024 but hit their online peak during early access.

Chained Together is a cooperative game for up to four players, in which chained-together players try to escape from hell and climb to the top of the world. This is the debut game from indie studio Anegar Games.
