Amid the rapid growth of wishlists for Totally Secure Airport, the project's publisher shared their vision of current trends.

Totally Secure Airport is a new project by Polden Publishing. It is a multiplayer blend of Quarantine Zone and a four-player job simulator. In it, players take on the role of airport security staff tasked with checking passengers and their luggage.
Within seven days of its announcement, the game garnered 182,000 wishlists. At its peak, Totally Secure Airport, which was promoted through influencers on vertical video platforms, received up to 63,000 "wishes."
The head of publishing, Kirill Orenshkin, attributes the project's appeal to the audience's understanding of the genre, as well as the fact that it is a cooperative game with a broadly accessible setting, vibrant visual style, and humor.
Based on this, he concludes that similar projects have a promising future: "Bright, fun 'friend-lopes' are a significant niche where various genres can be realized. Plus, they are easier to promote nowadays. Horror games are more challenging, but something visually recognizable, like Peak or our Totally Secure Airport, is just what's needed."
