Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
Below are the key metrics of the new series installment:
- At launch, Black Ops 6 surpassed previous Call of Duty parts in total players, hours played, and matches conducted;
- the game set a record for the number of new Game Pass subscribers on release day;
- sales on PlayStation and Steam increased by 60% year-over-year (compared to last year's Modern Warfare III).
The company did not disclose exact figures, as is the case with last year's MWIII. Modern Warfare II, which was released before Activision Blizzard joined Microsoft, earned $800 million in its first three days and surpassed the billion-dollar mark in 10 days. At that moment, it was a record for the series.
The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 took place on October 25 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. The game is also available through the Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
