Apple continues to fight Epic Games. She asked the U.S. Supreme Court to review the verdict issued by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Recall that the Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the lower court. It does not recognize Apple as a monopolist, but prohibits the corporation from preventing developers from inserting links into applications that allow them to pay for purchases outside the App Store payment system.
In the complaint, Apple said the appeals court had gone too far. She wants the US Supreme Court to check whether he did not exceed his powers and whether he had the right to issue such a ban.
Apple also indicated that in early June it filed a new appeal in the dispute with Epic Games, but last Friday the Court of Appeal rejected it. We add that he rejected a similar complaint from the Fortnite developer.
