The number of people wanting to play Deadlock is approaching one million, according to data from the analytics service VG Insights. Analysts have calculated that to date, Valve's multiplayer shooter has amassed 863 thousand wishlists on Steam.

At the time of writing this news, Deadlock holds the 28th position in the list of the most wished-for games on Steam, surpassing Borderlands 4, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater in the number of wishlists.
It is noteworthy that during testing, Deadlock continues to break its record for concurrent online players almost every day. On August 28, the game had 98,535 people playing at the same time.
It is unknown when Deadlock will be released, but it is clearly not happening soon. The Steam page for the game states that the shooter is still in the early stages of development, with many temporary assets in the current build.
