Amazon's gaming division announced the opening of its first European studio. It is located in Bucharest.
The studio is headed by Ubisoft veteran Cristian Pana, who has been the managing director of Ubisoft Bucharest for the past three years. Over his career, he has contributed to games such as Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, The Crew, and Far Cry 6.
Amazon Games Bucharest is the fifth studio in the Amazon Games portfolio. The others are located in Seattle, San Diego, Irvine, and Montreal. It will function as a support studio, assisting other company teams with their games.
