RuStore refuses to publish only 7% of applications, the stora team claims. These are usually projects with controversial or low-quality content.

It takes moderators on average less than an hour to check applications.

“The speed of moderation depends on the type of applications. For example, we will check the “Calculator” in less than 5 minutes, but games take more time. Moderators in this case need to make sure that there is no illegal content, clickbaits, elements that do not meet the stated age limit, and check the amount of advertising in the application. It is important to note that there are very few viral applications, they are immediately blocked, and the main reasons for refusing publication are in the content itself,” said Ilya Sverchkov, RuStore’s chief operating officer.

According to the calculations of the RuStore team, the share of malware among all applications sent for verification is less than 0.5%. Most often they are disguised as applications from the categories “useful tools”, “betting” and “sports”.

Now there are more than 10 thousand applications from 7 thousand developers in the store library.
