From April 14 to April 19, Ironmace studio conducted the fifth alpha test of Dark and Darker, which could be accessed by downloading the action build via Torrent. The other day, the developers shared testing statistics.

The bulk of the data concerns in-game nuances. For example, which classes were most often chosen by gamers. But Ironmace also counted the number of test participants. According to her estimates, a total of 457,181 people played the Dark and Darker Torrent alpha, most of whom were from the USA — the States accounted for 39.23% of participants. The second place went to residents of Japan (7.67%), and the third place went to residents of Canada (4.9%). Russians also actively played Torrent alpha and took sixth place with a share of 3.64%.

Dark and Darker was removed from Steam at the end of March, after Nexon complained about copyright infringement. In mid-April, Nexon filed a lawsuit against Ironmace in the Washington District Court, accusing the studio of stealing code and assets from the P3 shooter.
