THQ Nordic and its divisions have 77 game projects in development.

48 games from the list have not yet been announced. Some will be released this year.

The publisher announced this in its financial statements for 2018 and separately for the fourth quarter. The asset collector company is showing impressive growth in its performance.

Per year

  • For the full year, net sales increased by 713% compared to 2017 and reached $447 million.
  • Operating profit rose to $52.5 million (an increase of 139%), and pre—tax profit rose to $105.7 million (an increase of 257%).
  • The growth in annual figures is primarily due to the purchase of THQ Nordic by German Koch Media and its subsidiary publisher Deep Silver. Together with them, the publisher received the rights to the Saints Row, Dead Island and Metro series of games.

Per quarter

  • Quarterly sales of the publishing house increased by 441% year-on-year. They amount to $59.9 million.
  • At the same time, operating profit increased by 84% to $21.1 million, and pre-tax profit increased by 109% to $35.4 million.
  • In November, THQ Nordic published Darksiders III, a game that, according to the publisher’s CEO Lars Vingefors, has become the main driver of growth in quarterly figures. The project has already recouped all development and marketing costs and is now making a net profit.
  • Deep Silver had no major games in the fourth quarter, writes Gamesindistry.biz . Nevertheless, its share of net sales amounted to $20.3 million. THQ Nordic itself generated net sales of $38.2 million. Coffee Stain, which was bought by THQ Nordic in November, also contributed $1.5 million.

The publishing house also has another acquisition. THQ Nordic bought the Czech Warhorse Studios along with the intellectual rights to the RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
